wow. this is an actual scheduled talk at south by southwest this year. i came across this and others like “how guys are trying to get girls into tech” while browsing their 2010 schedule. i don’t consider myself easily offended or any sort of bra burning feminist but as a woman who works in various tech fields i find this outrageously offensive. “skills from traditional crafts” - why not send her into the kitchen after the talk to make dinner and babies too.
